Our time in Guatemala was excellent. The first half was spent in Antigua at a hospital for children (and adults) with C.P., malnutrition, autism, etc. Almost all of them are in wheelchairs. We were able to love them, feed them, care for them, take them out of the hospital for lunch, and minister the compassion and kindness of Jesus to them. The second half was at an orphanage. This was outside Guatemala City. We helped with projects around the place and held a VBS-type event during 3 of the afternoons. It is an awesome Christian orphanage…very well run.
