Hey Todd and Anne. It's Julie Purser-Walker, this is such a great idea, I often wonder what is up with others from DTS or SOE. My husband and I are worship leaders in CT, and have 3 girls. I'd enjoy hearing from you and others.
Hey,It's great to hear that you are doing so well. I am back in Shreveport serving as Asst Pastor and Worship Leader at Calvary Chapel of Shreveport. We helped start the church about 4.5 years ago and just recently purchased our own building. My wife bonnie and I have 4 kids - 2 boys and 2 girls - 2 dogs and 2 rabbits on our 2 acre spread out in the country outside Shreveport. This May I will gradute from LSU Shreveport and enter a certification program to teach Special Education on the secondary level ( new small churches mean second jobs) and am really excited about this new aspect of ministry. One of our children (Ian, the younger son)was diagnosed with Aspergers Syndrome about 3 yrs ago and since that time my reading and study in this area has really birthed a vision for Special Ed in me, so herer I go. I would love to hear from anyone out there. I think about you guys often. James House
Wow us oldie moldies are coming out of the wood work. Brian and I have been married almost 14 years. No one would even recognize Brian anymore. He's the number 3 guy in the computer department at a major hospital. He's the type A personality, I'm the laid back person now. We have a 10 year old son that Brian swears is just like John Kolb very focused and detailed oriented. Great to hear how people are doing. It seems like another lifetime ago.
